Removing and banning books from public libraries is a slippery slope to government censorship and the erosion of our country’s commitment to freedom of expression.

September 18 to 24 is Banned Book Week.  Libraries throughout the Commonwealth will be honoring books which have been challenged in libraries around the world and highlight the dangers that occur when books are not allowed to be accessed by our citizens
